6/12/17 - Breeding Season Complete At Bell View Park

Bell View Park has had another very successful breeding season with 30 of 32 mares bred testing in foal. All 30 pregnant mares were covered by 1/11/17 and will be carefully prepared for the 2018 broodmare sales. 

Of these 30 very well related mares, 6 are stakes winners, 4 are stakes placed and 10 are metropolitan winners.

These mares have been carefully mated to highly commercial stallions that suit both physically and genetically. The mares are in foal to proven stallions such as Exceed and Excel, Written Tycoon, More Than Ready, Sebring and Teofilo as well as promising young stallions such as Zoustar, Star Witness, So You Think, Shooting To Win, Pierro, Starspangledbanner, Dissident, Brazen Beau, Vancouver, Pride Of Dubai, Deep Field and Your Song. Exciting first season stallions such as American Phraoh, Captitalist, Astern, Frosted and Flying Artie have also been utilised.

Amarela: Group placed Pentire mare in foal to Capitalist.
Chocolatier: Stakes placed Lawman mare from the family of Pierro in foal to Astern.
Devious Rumor: Stakes winning Street Boss mare in foal to Medaglia D'Oro.
Dream In Colour: Frankel mare from the family of Not A Single Doubt in foal to Exceed And Excel.
Miss Husson: Group placed Husson mare in foal to Sebring.
Savaria: G1 winning Savabeel mare in foal to Exceed And Excel (Savaria pictured at the races)
Sebring Sally: Stakes winning Sebring mare in foal to American Pharaoh.

5/9/17 - Lubiton Wins Listed Mona Lisa Stakes

The Bell View Park bred Snitzel mare Lubiton (Pictured as a Yearling) won the Wyong Racing Club 1350m Listed Mona Lisa Stakes for trainer Bjorn Baker and owners Steve and Louise Gillard. Lubiton jumped well and settled just off the pace for jockey Glyn Schofield. Entering the straight Lubiton swept to the lead and fought on strongly to win the race by just under one length.

Lubiton is by current champion stallion Snitzel and is out of the Zabeel mare Rosa Stellata who is a daughter of G1 Coolmore Stakes winner Camino Rose. Bell View Park sold Lubiton as a weanling at the 2014 Inglis Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale for $150,000 to the bid of Newgate Farm. Newgate Farm subsequently sold Lubiton at the 2015 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale for $250,000. Bell View Park also sold Rosa Stellata in foal to Smart Missile at the 2016 Inglis Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale for $90,000 to New Zealand agent Ric Wylie.

21/8/17 - Sweet Redemption Wins G3 Toy Show Quality

The Bell View Park bred Sweet Redemption (Pictured - Photo Steve Hart) won the G3 Toy Show Quality over 1300m at Randwick on Saturday. Trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, Sweet Redemption led all of the way for jockey Adam Hyeronimus to win by a narrow margin. This was her second G3 success after previously winning Festival Stakes in 2016. Sweet Redemption has now won 6 races from 22 career starts and has prize money of just under $390,000. 

Sweet Redemption is by current champion stallion Snitzel and is out of the Red Ransom mare Redeeming Lass. Redeeming Lass is a daughter of Danglissa who won the G1 Flight Stakes for Gai Waterhouse. Sweet Redemption was sold at the Magic Millions Yearling sale to Bruce Slade's Round Table Racing for $120,000.

Bell View Park sold Redeeming Lass in foal to Wandjina at the 2016 Inglis Broodmare Sale for $60,000 to the bid of Rothwell Park.
